Gary Vaynerchuk is a serial entrepreneur and the CEO and founder of VaynerMedia, a full-service digital agency servicing Fortune 500 clients across the company’s 5 locations.
Gary is also a prolific public speake with a vulgar mouth, if not for that myself and many others would be promoting him heavily to our loved ones and grandkids.
He is a venture capitalist, 4-time New York Times Bestselling Author, and has been named to both Crain’s and Fortune’s 40 Under 40 lists. The Sad TRUTH About Colleges & Young People – Gary Vaynerchuk Motivation
I could agree more with Gary Vee on most subjects, and especially college. Yes there are certin professions, a dentist for exampale that requires a collget education, but ladies and gentleman, one of my first mentors, Jim Rohn, had it right.
I have always Self Education referred to finding the right mentor. In fact a did a double audio set on the subject several years ago, that you can probably still find on Amazon.
“A Formal Education makes you a living, become SELF-EDUCATED and you can create a fortuen.
In fact back in 2012, I wrote a book called How to Get Rich Without Going to College that is also available on Amazon and more popular today than ever. Today people are starting to understand attending college and success in life really have nothing to do with each other. Ten years ago when the book was written, people called me a crazy idot. That has kind of been the story of my life, talking about changes before anyone else accepts them.
Right now, I know millionaires will be created in the Metaverse and I talk about that from time to time on my podcast. Everytime I do I get the same reaction. People think I am a crazy idiot, but I am beyond comfortable with the bold predictions I have made over the years. I don’t know why, but I see things coming before most do and nobody see’s the future like Gary Vee, even if I was talking about the fact that a college education makes no sense, ten years before he was. 🙂
